Super fun packed uber cool bimbling capering action packed weekend shenanigans
The Gathering this year was excellent; the Starcrafts really are a fantastic group anyway here are some of my highlights.......
I did NOT say that the Wolves Lord Arcane looks like a monkey directly to his face and was NOT beaten unconcious by him because of said comment. Ok so everyone chant after me... Elm most certainly does not look like a monkey. FACT. rinse repeat hours of fun.
I also did NOT shout the question "Does he smells like wet dog?" to the Claus the Lord Marshall and was NOT chased around the camp by him before being forced to charge and gore his fist untill I knocked myself out.
Learning the secret phrase used to avoid being mugged by a horde of drunken orcs who wander up to you at night..... it goes along the lines of "Whaddaya want Skag?" FACT.
Making some Viper camp guard crap themselves when he demanded to know what business we had in his camp and i shouted to the nearest half-ogre (Shorty) that he was giving me shit...... even a look of total confusion from a half ogre can make a monkey run screaming.
Stomping up to the Harts gate after they had probems with chaos demons all day and proclaimed "I am the almighty Chaos Demon Imperror Overlord Most-High of the Starcraft Chaos Legion"; to which they replied "ok we dont wanna mess" and let me in :D

I hate being ill; it sucks. I'm also meant to be traveling to Nottingham tomorrow, for a general piss and catch up with a load of my university mates. I'm of two minds about it: travel on the train, infecting all as i go, and like Robin Hood sleep with the rich and infect the poor. Or i could just sod it and sloth on the sofa with a cup of soup and a DVD. I am undecided, it will depend how lazy/evil im feeling tomorrow morning. |

I'm not an atheist but....
If God created all man, and sent his only son to earth 2000 years ago; what happend to all those people who died before then?
Random Greek circa 345BC walks up too the gates of heaven and is asked "Do you believe in Jesus Christ?"
*I'm not sure who would be doing the asking, isn't it saint Peter or someone?? anyway he hasn't been born yet so we will call the person Dave*
Greek says "Never Heard of Him"; Dave says "Oh i'm very sorry, you appear to be early. Enjoy Hell", smiles and pulls a golden rope; Greek, as he falls into the pit, curses and wishes he said "Sure, we shared pint last week and talked about the olympic bid; he seems to think it is going to Athens, crazy guy".
Why is it his fault that he was born before Jesus.
And all the other billions of people who were.
And if the Christian God really exists; would he send an entire race of people to hell because some charismatic stoner got wasted one night and saw a four armed walking elephant.
Did he just give the good hallucanegenics to the Israelites; or did a bush get hit by lightning and some gullible fellow, in a multicoloured waistcoat, discover witchcraft and start curseing people in the name of the Lord.
And why send Jesus to earth 2000 years ago; when only a tiny proportion of the world could actually see him. If God is all knowing, then surely he would of seen that its all about global publicity. If Jesus came back right now he would be in Tricia by lunchtime, channel 4 news for tea and the BBC for dinner. I'd give him one week before most of the unbelieving world would realise their "messiah" is'nt turning up and convert.
So lets assume God is'nt a complete wanker for a minute; God says, "ok everyone who was kind and good before Jesus can come back to heaven; I will wipe their memories so they don't get annoyed and it will all be fine".
HE'S PLAYING THE GAME BUT HE KEEPS CHANGING THE RULES
And that makes him a cheat.

Everyone's been away all weekend doing various things; looking back over the boringness of my weekend, i can say, withiout any hesitation, that monstering the viper event would of been a good idea. I'm sure that my brain is on the red line between bored and self-destruct states.
On top of all, I was just told that my dog has been put down.
Sigh
I'll have to see if beer is busy tonight; it always cheers me up |

Moved into the new flat last week, its luvly altho we have no internet and i dont know when we are getting it; currently ive turned into an internet parasite, leeching bandwidth from anyone i visit.

Is Crash the worstest film ever???
Basic plot: guy from stargate film crashing cars and having sex with various women
And THIS was released in actual cinemas, not just those "arty" ones
Sounds good doesnt it.... prepare to be disappointed.....
Only thing worse i can think of is that rubbish film with ben afleck and jLo (wtf GET A REAL NAME) about a lesbian assassin and some rubbish character JLo played...
History of Violence looks goos tho, Dacid Chronemburg might just be not the worst director ever.. perhaps |
